How come he was just able to walk outta there and not arrested for murder there n then?

Pretty sure Cole would claim he was defending Rhaenyra in the melee. Also the dude was carrying a dagger which is a big no no for a low-ish born at such events.

Cole is dumb as hell though so who knows what he will say about it.

Also her new husbands family (valerie?) also didn’t kick off but they’re not happy about their sons ‘different nature’ and probably happy to see the guy despatched.

Having the wedding right after felt weird but given her dad the king had just died it was necessary

This intrigue and suspense and all of it is GOT at its best.

We could be watching different edits. This does actually happen occasionally in different regions.

But he definitely collapsed and died ( there was even a shot of him snotting blood to let you know he was dying) the crown fell off him and that was that. Straight into marriage thing

Died? Maybe. They are trying out this new concept called a cliffhanger. Or maybe it’s called misdirection. I dunno for sure, it’s a brand new concept.
