Why on earth would Obama want that?
Yeah, so much this. He’s at the stage where he can make easy money hand over fist, be loved, and maybe even make the world a slightly better place. And all without the scrutiny he already endured for 8 years.

Also it would cause massive issues. Presidents can serve two terms or up to 10 years, presumptively in the case they take over during the last two years of a term and are elected twice.

Here's another: He sounds nice:
When he ran [for Congress] in 2016, Ojeda was hospitalized after a brutal attack that he says was politically motivated; he was attacked from behind by a Logan County man and beaten with brass knuckles while putting a political bumper sticker on a car.

I asked Ojeda if he was worried about more attacks as a high-profile Democrat in a state now known for its Republican bent.

“Come from the front,” Ojeda said of his would-be foes. “If you come from the front, you’ll shit your teeth.”

OK, OK this looks like a better situation for the Dems than this recent one

In the 2020 election, all 33 Class 2 Senate seats are up for election; there are currently 20 Republicans and 11 Democrats whose seats will be up for election, and two seats to be determined in the 2018 elections.

Yeah, going into this midterm the reality was that not only were more Democrat-held seats up for re-election, but a disproportionate number of those were in red-leaning states. I’m sure everyone here heard at least one pundit or read at least one article discussing how ugly the senate map looked for the party, even as the House became a near-lock. A three seat reduction was thrown around as a best hope.

Having only one less seat is surprisingly great, and a phenomenal starting point for 2020.

On the other hand, I think this means he's the perfect candidate to go against someone like Trump.

I only see his tweets because so many people retweet him.

The idea of what Avenatti has become debating what Trump is made me laugh a little.
