I owned a Ford once and it was the only time I will ever own an American car. What a pile of shit that thing was, drove like absolute garbage

What model? I bought mine new in 2020, haven't had to do anything but change the oil, filters, and rotate tires. Stiff ride, as expected, but it's very easy to drive for a full size truck.

Most manufacturers have good and bad models. Americans probably have more bad than good. Do your research. Talk to people who work on them, not the people who sell them.

Had a Bronco and an Explorer back in the day. Mostly reliable. Worst car I ever had was a Volkswagen. Stupid thing basically melted in the sun. Nothing worked when I traded it in.

I drove a 2003 Ford Escape for over 15 years and it was extremely reliable. Great car.

81 Chevy Luv - floorboards rusted out. Engine backfired constantly. paid 500 for it, sold it for 200.

3000gt - very sexy. Blew up the engine. Very sad.

Bronco - almost rolled it a couple of times, but held together. think my brother ended up with this one.

Mazda b2300 (Ford ranger) - t-boned by a 15 year old girl on her second wreck.

Ford Explorer - had it for several years. Eventually ran it into the ground.

Volkswagen Jetta - piece of shit but very fast. Disintegrated to dust. Warning lights lit up like a Christmas tree. Brittle interior. Just garbage.

Mazda 3 - very dependable, zippy little car. Probably the best car I've ever had.

Buick laCrosse - extremely comfortable old man car. Not very reliable, but a dream to drive.

Chevy Corvette - very sexy. Blew up the engine. Very sad.
