I know things are said later in the show that contradict this but Tony threw Furio out of the helicopter.

Mad Men
Star Trek TOS
True Detective if I can only include the first season
Arrested Development
MST3k
I Think You Should Leave
The Office (US)
Neon Genesis Evangelion
The Twilight Zone
The Simpsons (obviously not including the last 25 years)
Why Mad Men? We’re halfway through season 5. It has its moments, but I feel like it’s vastly overrated so far.

The character development on Mad Men is exceptional. One example is the scene where Peggy talks to Pete about how a part of you isn’t there anymore and you think it’s going to come back but then you realize, “it’s just gone.”

The show is so subtly funny that it’s easy to miss jokes that are hilarious. Roger Sterling.

“Shut the Door. Have a Seat” and “The Suitcase” are two of the best episodes in TV history.

There’s so much to praise but I haven’t watched recently so it’s not fresh in my mind.

Season 5 has some of the best eps in the series, but also some of the most hamfisted attempts at direct commentary on race, which is never a strength for this show. I thought S6 was a big step up in terms of consistency, but if the continued bad decisions and unlikeable behavior in S3 annoyed you, S6 is gonna be rough.

Just started Season 6 of the Sopranos. It’s hilarious how at the beginning of every season they introduce new characters who are obviously super important. Who the fuck is Gene? lol

Gene Pontecorvo has been around since season 3. He was made in the same ceremony as Christopher. Pay attention!

Yeah I am usually watching while being with kids on my phone (as the artists intended) so there have been a few background characters upgraded to regular cast members that I’ve missed.

Just finished episode 1 so now I know I should’ve asked who WAS Gene.

Don made me laugh in that episode where everyone was on speed.

But yeah, Roger's the best.
