This song is worse than anything on Backspacer. It tries to be Low Light and fails miserably, turning into some odd native American ritualistic chant, where Ed tries to bury the word "moon" constantly. Yeeehhheehhh-lo moon on the Riiiise...

The vocal reminds me of another song, maybe not a PJ song. Anyone think the same thing?

Someone needs to sequence this after "Arc"

I'm not sure if Ed can sing that anymore, but if he could, that's an A+ concert starter there.

Vocal melody is very similar to a cat stevens song.

I think this all been said throughout the thread, but:
Notes - Low Light
Vocal melodies - Arc and a touch of 1/2 Full
Lyrics - 1/2 Full

To me YL is better than Low Lite
YL and Pendulum and MFS are the three songs that are among the Pearl Jam All Time Greats

Expand that list to include Infallible and Getaway and we're good.

When you say YL, do you really mean YM? Or are you talking about Yellow Ledbetter?

there are lots of adjectives i'd use to describe yellow moon I haven't really used to describe a pearl jam song before.
