Gotcha. I had to research his backstory. It was unknown to me prior to my post.

I'm in the same boat as spike, except I haven't done a deeper dive. I just remember him always being political, but from what seemed like a leftist perspective in the past. Human rights, anti-sweat shop, anti-corporate stuff. So this latest stunt left me confused about his motives.

i am almost of the mindset that he is using this WNBA stunt to get more attention to his other causes. Most people dont care about Turkey and their human rights transgressions because they dont know about it. he maybe thinks if he brings attention to himself people will be like spike and do a deeper dive into his history
