How bizarre

we may just skip out and relax at home. I’ll still need supplies.
What are you up to?
my wife and son went to our place in Michigan on Sunday. my daughter and i are supposed to head up there tomorrow. my parents are driving up tomorrow to stay with us.
i think i've gotten 25 text messages in the last 2 days from my parents asking about what food to bring (we have grocery stores nearby, but my mom thinks she needs to shop near her and then pack everything) or what holiday decorations my dad can put up. i was on a conference call today and he texted me, called me on my cell, called me at work, and called my wife, all in the span of 1 minute -- wanting to know if i had an extra timer for the lights. i. cannot. deal.
would your dad like the keys to the dad RM account, if only for a day? let him burn off some of that energy.
Go Blue
So I didn’t have time yesterday to make the pie. I only made the dough (for both the apple and pumpkin pies), which means I have to make it later today when I get to Michigan — with my mother looking over my shoulder and making passive-aggressive comments the whole time because I don’t do things the way she would.Chris_H_2 wrote:About ready to try my hand at my first pumpkin pie. This may very well fail spectacularly.

I already need a drink.

Weird that you took that personally. I wasn't even talking to you (or about myself for that matter lol). You're like a professor of food or whatever, you're obviously smarter than metragabigzanda wrote:pfft get the vegan bird, invite argo over, let him regale you all with how much more he's thought about this stuff than you have
You too!tragabigzanda wrote:No more personal than any other post.
