Are most people doing one long track? I'd kinda prefer not to. That way it's easier for me to pull the stuff I like from the mix I get to listen to it regularly.

One long 80 minute track is going to be a fairly considerable undertaking to sit through (hopefully most people will be more concise, however).

So I decided to put together a quick Audacity tutorial-- not on the entire software, but on how you can use it to mix tracks together for the playlist.

However, for some reason, the audio and the video get horribly out of sync at some point. Apologies for that. Thankfully you can still kind of see what I'm doing, and hopefully it still makes some sense.

mine is gonna be all one track, but if anyone actually likes the stuff i put together and wants some of the individual tracks then i will send them out after. i dont know that i can do a side a and side b, mine all kinda flows as one project. and i doubt im gonna be at 80 minutes, i think mine is done right now, just needs some tweaks and its no where close to 80.

i'll be looking to keep my mix under 60 minutes for sure

just the file sharing link is OK. Make sure the track titles and such are blanked out.

Cool. I'll probably do the one big track thing so it is easier to tag blank instead of re-tagging all the individual tracks.

I'd be a little annoyed if I received one that was one long track. But I'm not even in this thing.
