Interestingly, The Real Me has been left off the Leeds boot. Certainly not a complaint.

Sounds absolutely great so far.

Six songs in and I'm enjoying the hell out of this show thus far.

After the Australia/.NZ shows I have little desire to sit through the Euro boots. Is there a killer show (Leeds? Oslo?) that I should hear or is someone doing a compilation?

I've enjoyed Oslo. But I haven't listened to many of them. Trieste seemed pretty good

I'm quite enjoying Milton Keynes. I haven't really absorbed the other 2014 shows to compare but this opening section of the set is pretty kicking.

The band are on top form but Ed sounds quite ragged and falls short of finishing more lines than usual

The first dozen or so songs from most of the Euro shows are pretty great. Black works surprisingly well in the early slow openers and gets the band in the zone for the flurry of fast paced numbers that usually follow.

The end of the main sets often start to falter as the alcohol sets in, and then they regroup for the sit-down start to the encores which are usually quite good and feature some slower rarities. The second encores however are predictable and forgettable, but these shows are so long I usually lose interest by then.

As for an overall must-hear show - not sure, but Trieste, Vienna, Oslo/Stockholm and Leeds/Milton Keynes are probably the pick o' the litter.

I've got two "bootleg coupon codes", planning on getting Oslo and Leeds based on setlists and the comments I've read here. Would that be a safe bet?

Leeds is one of the best shows of the last few years. Can't speak for Oslo, but it is a great looking set. That first encore is delicious.

I listened to Stockholm today and definitely noticed this. It's a good show, but Eddie gets real forgetful as it goes. Sings the second verse twice in Porch (which makes three times total for the night since it was the preset as well), and there are moments in Mother and Baba where I think he's singing nonsense words that kinda phonetically sound like the real words. So good for him for at least knowing what it's supposed to sound like if he can't remember the actual words.

But it starts out great until Red Mosquito, which is kind of a train wreck. It sounds like they started before Stone was ready and he never quite caught up. And then it's up and down from there. An enjoyable listen, but I'm not sure how often I'd go back.

I feel like you only notice Eddie's drunken forgetfulness when listening to the boots. He was a drunken mess for the encore of Worcester 1 last year, and I didnt remember any of it, including him spelling L-O-I-T-E-R-I-N-G wrong and forgetting an entire verse of Indifference.

I agree - you certainly notice it more on the boots when removed from the concert atmosphere. Skipping a verse of Indifference (also done at Leeds) is a real shame.

I've had Leeds and Milton Keynes on most of the day in the background. These seem pretty good from a distance. I'll have to revisit with some headphones later tonight, but, it's obvious they're strong. I'm pretty shocked actually, considering how much crap they put my ears through with the fall US tour last year.

Milton Keynes is fucking great up until Comatose and Save You. Some oops here, some downtuning there, yadda, yadda, miss a lyric, little de-railed. We'll see if they find it again.

Jeff's on it though
