Heathen, I'm sure your World Cup anthems will all be available for you.
That's a strange criterion for your voting... and I'm not a fan, so whatevs.Lament wrote:I'll be honest. I will vote for every single group with a Manics song over any group without one, regardless of what other songs are involved.
I knew some of you would go for the obscure vote, but this one is just OUT THERE! I listened to it, I liked it... I mean, it's good for meditating, having on during dinner, maybe even a light jog. But top 10 material, for the entire decade? Must have special meaning, sentimental value, or something... ya know, SOMETHING!Brett wrote:Tortoise - "Djed"
I know RMers across all walks of the universe LOVE this guy, but let me tell you something... I saw him live... and he scared the PISS out of me! When I hear Leatherman, I envision Tom Waits as the protagonist. Add that spooky light he has, shining up from the base of his mic stand, and that gurgling shit he spews from his mouth, and I AM FREAKED OUT, MAN!!!Farmer John wrote:Tom Waits - Come On Up to the House
Agreed. I think there should be something in the rules to force Brett to pick something by Soundgarden or Tool.Iholdthepain wrote:I knew some of you would go for the obscure vote, but this one is just OUT THERE! I don't think voting for any group that includes my favorite band of all-time is really all that strange. I'm just being honest. If someone has the Manics and is up against someone without them, there's probably no way I'll like the non-Manics group better.Iholdthepain wrote:That's a strange criterion for your voting... and I'm not a fan, so whatevs.Lament wrote:I'll be honest. That's good news for my team of 9 black metal songs + 1 MSP song.Lament wrote:I don't think voting for any group that includes my favorite band of all-time is really all that strange. If this happens there's a real chance I will create 50-60 second accounts to make sure you win the whole tournament.Heathen wrote:That's good news for my team of 9 black metal songs + 1 MSP song.
