I'm sorry. You can take it if you want.

No, it's ok. I probably would have put the same team together anyway.

I am open to making a second team though, if it would give us an even number. Maybe the Mets so I can have Olerud manning first on both teams.

Rookie questions here, my apologies in advance. So, after we've picked out our rosters, we just post them here and eventually our lineups.

Does Lament input everything into WhatIf and let the season run? Or are we managing every game? If so, how's that done? I see some people are posting lineups vs. righties and lefties.

If you can set up a WhatIf account and create your team it would make it a lot easier for Lament, so I think that's what most of us have done.

As far as managing every game, we generally have our vs. RHP and vs. LHP lineups and pitching rotations set, and any other game to game changes we would post in here prior to that game being simulated.

Having said that, I don't know if the schedule will change at all with the longer season.

What's the ruling on how far back i can go with the Orioles? Am i able to pull from the old browns rosters before they were the Orioles in the early 1900's?

I'd say yes.

I went as far back as my franchise could go, which reached into the 1880's, so yeah.

Yeah, you can take anyone who played for the franchise from the very beginning. So you can use anyone from the 1901 Milwaukee Brewers or the 1902-1953 St. Louis Browns.

Yeah, Phil pretty much nailed this.

If you could create your team on your own account, that would really, really helpful. Otherwise I can do it, but I'll need you to get it me a few days before the deadline so I have time to input it (and make sure I have enough accounts, depending on how many people need me to do it).

We're gonna post the entire schedule before the season and run two sets of games every day. I think most people are just setting up a default rotation and a default lineup (or lineups, if they want a different one when facing LHPs vs. RHPs). This way they don't have to worry about re-verifying their starter and line up every day. Whenever you'd like to make a change for a specific game (or to your default), you can just post it in the thread. You can also make rotation switches by posting as well.

In the event someone doesn't have a default lineup or rotation, and fails to produce a lineup or starter in time for the games to be run, we'll just go with their lineup from the previous game, and the next SP listed in their roster.

If #BRL doesn't make a second team, we'll need another, so your Mets team may just be called upon.

I'll get the Yankees team done Wednesday after work, if not tomorrow. Choosing starters is the hard part with this team.
