There are some really cool directors working with the genre today...Rob Zombie and Ti West might be my favorite from these days...
how do we feel about Eli Roth? anyone saw the green inferno?

Yep. I liked it. Better than 2, not as good as 1. Suprisingly character-focused. At least one really terrifying scene.

Watched Insidious 3 last night. These movies do a pretty good job at the creep and scare factors. But LOL, Darth Maul.

I loved Insidious 3. The trilogy is pretty cool and im stoked for a 4th one focusing on that darth maul character.
Man, that demon on the third one was creepy.

Watched the Maniac remake with Elijah Wood for the second time last night. Awesome movie. I forgot how good it was, definitely need to amend my top 10 of all time.

I just found it unpleasant. The level of violence bummed me out. It felt empty, cruel for no reason. Gross. I'll take the original any day.
