I only saw Genisys once and kinda fast forward trough it.
Salvation is the one with Bale?
yeah thats the one. It looks awesome, there is some really cool images..and Bale was in a T movie!!! But its also weird as fuck. I love that about it.
Do you think it's worth checking out for someone who is a lukewarm fan (at best) of the franchise in general? Is it weird enough to be worth it?

The (fan demanded) ending of Salvation ruined it for me, and the weird setting made no sense. Why were humans just hanging out at an airbase?

Yes, Joe, watch Salvation. Believe it or not, it is the most apocalyptic/dystopian one of all of them. The ending was a little weak, but I can't let that ruin it for me. That is the case for a lot of movies. I mean, come on, no way Katniss kills Coin and let's Snow live, but here we are.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Salvation is great - definitely the one I was the most keen to see them develop further.
