Ha fixed, that's what happens you rush!LetMeSleep wrote:What an amazingly confounding last sentence.
He was fantastic when RNDM went out on tour the first time. These new songs aren't as energetic to me, so while he was good, the drumming felt subdued. At one point he was smashing his toms with maracas during a jam which was cool. I was hoping they'd still keep Into You Like A Train as a cover like before. He destroyed that a few years ago (in a good way). So yeah, still cool, but I liked the drumming during their first pass through a little better.tragabigzanda wrote:For anyone who's seen them on this tour, is Stuverad blowing your minds? I saw him with Three Fish in '96, and he's still one of the best live drummers I've ever seen.
I'd put this in a very close second behind Bayleaf for "best side project evah."tragabigzanda wrote:For anyone who's seen them on this tour, is Stuverad blowing your minds? I saw him with Three Fish in '96, and he's still one of the best live drummers I've ever seen.

Sorry, the new RNDM. I like Three Fish a lot too, though. They just did the one record right?tragabigzanda wrote:Sorry, Three Fish or RNDM?durdencommatyler wrote:I'd put this in a very close second behind Bayleaf for "best side project evah."tragabigzanda wrote:For anyone who's seen them on this tour, is Stuverad blowing your minds? And did you wind up going to the RNDM show?
Ah. I had no idea! Yeah, I've only heard the self-titled one. Which I love.tragabigzanda wrote:Ah. Saving money is good. Three Fish did two records, the self-titled one (my favorite of the two), and The Quiet Table.durdencommatyler wrote:Sorry, the new RNDM. I like Three Fish a lot too, though. And no I did not go to the RNDM show. I decided it was better to get some work done and save some money.
Parking is a goddamn BITCH around H street. I parked like a fucking mile away but thankfully made it in time for beginning of rndm's set. Will wrote:DC had an opener. Solo act, maybe? He was scheduled to get off at 8:45, band at 9:15. I missed the first song struggling to find parking. Say 9:00 to be safe.
Yup. I ended up by Ben's Chili Bowl. I missed 5 songs when they played the Black Cat on the first tour too. That area is just as bad.Revelator wrote:Parking is a goddamn BITCH around H street.
