Agree with this, these are embarrassing lyrics, and made much more egregious by being the first words you hear

I mean, he could be referring to anything, not necessarily politics -- e.g. he often writes about religious indoctrination -- but I kind of wish he'd grounded it more clearly in that, or anything (I suppose the title "Genesis" might point to religion but please, Chino, use the potential of that title in your actual lyrics)

On to Gore. This already much better than Ohms, but Jeeeeeeesus does it need a remaster. The production/mixing sounds dreadful

Yeah Gore is very good, I've been sleeping on this one a bit. "Hearts / Wires" and "L(MIRL)" are particularly great

Kinda disappointing to see they're only playing three songs from the new album at their shows right now

these dudes are coming to Lollapalooza next year. Ill be there although i was hoping they played alone in another venue.

I know, and normally I wouldn't even want to hear a bunch of new songs, but this album is so good!

Sorry, but I haven’t memorized the half-assed bits of half-wit gits on the internet circa December ‘22.

Anyway, with the right lower-class British accent, it’d sound the same either way. Kind of like how you don’t need C/F for -40°

Eros is clearly just demos (the mixing is really rough, unfinished sections, etc.), but still great to hear these songs after so long.
