Not a lot of duplicates across these lists. Speaks volumes for his catalogue. :nice:

Yep. He holds himself to a high standard over a lot of material over a long time. Respect.

The Promise is fucking stellar. The amount of quality stuff that came out of those Edge of Town sessions is pretty staggering.

True story: that picture is not color treated in any way. That is just how things look in Nebraska.

Some places? Yes.

There are rumors Bruce gained 40 lbs and grew a huge beard and lived in BFE Nebraska for a few months before recording this.

Only 40 pounds? Rubbish. They would have recognized that he didn't fit in with the locals.

As a newly minted Springsteen fan, I just need to say this guy is really great.

That shimmering bass at the beginning of "Backstreets"...sheesh.

oh, man - that so true. Omaha people came in two varieties from my recollection: big and tall types that i'm pretty sure could eat an entire cow in one sitting, ad big and round types, who likely did eat an entire cow in one sitting.

damn, they are large fucking corn fed folks though.

Definitely the best Springsteen album, but there's worthwhile material on every single album (even Human Touch).
