The sci-fi cocktease is throwing me though. I kinda hope they don’t go there.
You talking about with Angela?

It’s not just Angela, there have been many allusions to time/space travel this season, all the way to the opening sequence of Ep1 at the reactor. Whiterose has said “I hack time” repeatedly and I thought that was metaphor in the sense that by altering people’s behaviors she was creating the future universe she wanted, but it seems like a little more than that now. I could be reading too much into it.

It was a slower episode, but I think it was used to try and bring back some hope.

I guess the whole back in time is a metaphor for whats next, elliot trying to undo the first attack.

The "Back to the Future" stuff for sure. the rest of it, I don't know. What exactly did Whiterose show Angela and Irving?

yeah, this. It is after this that Angela started talking about "what if we could go back to before our parents died". Very curious.

I've seen little to no buzz about this season on the interwebs outside of this thread, but this season has been incredible.

That Angela and Dom scene was neat.

Darlene? Anyway, the episode was the first miss of the season though the "not a puppet" line was a keeper.

*spoilered for anyone who hasnt seen S03E09 yet*
Spoiler: show
The whole "Price knew all along and let it happen" plot was a bit confusing. Did he anticipate a phase 2 attack? Was he trying to play whiterose? And they raced through the major revelation that Trenton had and it's broader value (more time for the lesbian scene?) only to have Darlene give it up in what I can assume was a clumsily written setup to prove to Dom that the FBI was infiltrated by the dark army.

It was too many important plot pivots crammed into too little time.
