Absolutely. He'll learn from this.
Max going from P20 to P2 was pretty insane. Also glad to see Sainz get podium.

Hamilton out of points lead after that clusterfuck of a race for him.
I am really happy Perez is racing so well.

Happy for Bottas and Red Bull. Sainz is a beast. LeClerc missing out on podium yet again was pretty painful. And Hamilton's team was feeding him garbage intel during the latter part of the race.
I feel like Merc should be better with this stuff.

Lando with an uncharacteristically poor qual. (P10) while Gasly punches above his weight with a P5 start.
Would be great to see Perez podium at his home circuit, but Merc and Max are looking very strong leading into the race.

Yeah, so cool to see. No one was more excited than Perez Sr.
Woeful outing for McLaren, though. Feelsbadman.

The remaining races seem to favor Merc's greater top speed over Red Bull's superior cornering.
This could come down to the wire!

Alonso finishes 3rd; his first podium since 2014. And Lewis wins while rocking a pride helmet in Quatar of all places.
Fuck yeah.

Yeah really happy for Alonso. I can't think of many former champions who have done as successful comeback to F1 as Alonso has. And the gap between Hamilton and Verstappen is now only 8 points. For some reason I've been cheering for Hamilton in the past few races even though I don't really like the guy.

Same here. I think it's because he's cooled it on his usual whining and is just driving like a man possessed.
I really don't mind who wins in the end. I was hoping McLaren were going to edge out Ferrari in constructors, but Ricc has had a pretty underwhelming run aside from his podium. Norris too.

Hamilton is a fantastic driver, maybe the best ever. He has also chosen wisely (and been a little lucky), with very often being in the best car.
I also think he has been a little whiny in his career at times, but the best often are.
Think I like him better than Verstappen. But would be nice with a new champion this season.

What's going on with Russell? He was gaining momentum for a while there and just fell off.
Excited to see him in a better car next year.

I have noticed that as well. He has been performing really well in the Williams, and finally started to challenge for points. But the whole team have been poor for a few rounds now.
Will be very interesting to see how he does next season.
