He's gonna be so amazing.
I can't believe all the shots we're seeing from NYC over the past few days. The stuff with Roland and Jake slays me! This movie is going to so wonderful. I can't even wait.

The last photo confuses me. How will they integrate that location in this movie?

Not sure at this point.
But I think the "showdown" we see between Roland and Jackie Earl Haley (photos posted earlier in the tread) takes place near (maybe outside?) that location.
So I think they're going to
- Spoiler: show
- turn it into a Taheen hangout more than a "vampire" hangout. I'm wondering if there won't be a massacre scene at The Dixie Pig to replace the massacre at Tull, which at this point, with the altered timeline, it looks like we aren't getting.

Probably something like that. It seems to me that they're using the books as a well from which to draw source material, then building a storyline that may only resemble the original in broad strokes. The details will be different, but will probably still use characters, locations, events, etc. from the books.

Yep. Seems like what they're doing. Which I kind of like. It's a rare opportunity to use the primary story in the books and legitimately create a new(ish) story. And it's all supported by the original text. It'll be more of sequel/re-imagining than an adaptation. And that's so fucking cool to me.
They can really open the thing up and do whatever they want.

Would this mark the first time a book adaptation changes make sense?

I really don't remember being this excited for a major Hollywood movie. This is my Star Wars, y'all. I'm over the moon with everything I've seen/read so far.

Christ!
There's a Sombra Group App. You can scan some of the images that have been released with the app and get some cool shit.
For example, here's what the Entertainment Weekly's Dark Tower cover looks like when viewed with the app:
- Spoiler: show

Tell me THAT isn't fucking badass.
