Dude, it's still good music and the show is flowing nicely. I'm sure your friend would have enjoyed it.
Well yeah but most people dont want to go to a concert to see three hours of songs they dont know. It is hard to become a fan of a song in the live setting with the distorted sound.
And chud, maybe you did, but did they ever get a show like this one?
This one isn't
that out there.
Id say it is, it only has like 8 really recognizable songs so far (Even Flow, Porch, Small Town, Corduroy, Why Go, Once, Betterman, Love and Trust maybe)
that's plenty to keep a casual fan involved. that's like 30% of a standard length show.

I dont think in an arena with distorted sound in the live setting is a good way to be introduced to a song.
If you are going to a Pearl Jam concert to be introduced to a song, you're doing it wrong
Right, which is why people are dumb saying you can enjoy it whether you know the song or not

Right, which is why people are dumb saying you can enjoy it whether you know the song or not
I mean if you are expecting the standard hits and nothing else, you'll probably not like the show if you can't enjoy any "new" music

If every third song is a song you know, and you enjoy the ones you're hearing for the first time, you're going to have a blast.

Right, but this show is weighted with MOSTLY obscure material. Obviously not all of it should be hits, but this one the balance is a lot more in favor of obscure stuff and rarities. I would enjoy it live but Im happy its not what we got at MSG because my friend said it was like the best show he ever saw and Im not sure he'd agree with this setlist.

He's saying on the app for his roku it always has it oriented in portrait mode, so if you shoot in landscape he'll be turning his head.
