It's one of the fancy ones with batteries and "touch" on/off capabilities.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

The ones for homes are almost too sensitive. If a fly gets in the house during the summer and lands on it, it turns on

Funny how different things resonate with different people. I’ve never really noticed. ‘Course I have never lived anywhere else so have no real basis for comparison.

Well except for “Stop Freakin’, Call Beacon”

Ha, no. We did get a huge sectional sofa for the TV area though. Pretty excited about that.

That’ll be cool when it arrives 3Q next year.

I went to check the battery for my electric mower and it’s deader than a hammer. Won’t take a charge or anything. New battery at the store is $177. When I bought the mower a year ago, extra batteries were $98. (Thanks Biden). So I went to eBay and found 2 new batteries for a combined total of $120. Ordered those yesterday and should have them both by the end of the week. I called the mower company a little bit ago because the batteries have a 3-year warranty and they’re sending me a replacement that I should get in 10-14 days. So now I’ll have 3 batteries. I’ll never have to wait 5 hours to finish mowing the yard again!
