Still crazy in love with Cold Confession BUT finding it harder to truly enjoy it lately because of Ed. What a lousy job
This is possibly a scratch vocal take. Even if it is the final take, the track was never released so how can you say lousy job?Lounge Lizard wrote:Still crazy in love with Cold Confession BUT finding it harder to truly enjoy it lately because of Ed. What a lousy job
I'm hoping it's placeholder. It just won't do if the song's ever to be released.LetMeSleep wrote:This is possibly a scratch vocal take. btw, I think his vocals are great and the fragility pitched perfectly.
Completely disagree. And it will only be released in it's current form if they do an outtakes album If it appears on an album proper then it will be re-recorded (which'll never happen).Lounge Lizard wrote:I'm hoping it's placeholder. Disagree. For me, his singing makes the song. So unique for him. I'm guessing it wasnt released because he wouldnt know how to pull it off in an arena.Lounge Lizard wrote:Still crazy in love with Cold Confession BUT finding it harder to truly enjoy it lately because of Ed. What a lousy job
Unless you're deaf you can just use your ears.flannelking wrote:Would love to hear these two songs. I wish I knew how.

Not sure if serious or not. But, BoB wasn't involved during the S/T sessions. If the songs were never brought up for discussion during BS or LB, then its pretty reasonable to believe he's not aware of them.Coach wrote:What if a Pearl Jam cover band is behind these songs, and not Pearl Jam proper?
This would explain why BoB didn't know about CC.
I'm just being fresh about the comment above, but I do disagree regarding BoB. I'd bet money that he knows what they are and has heard them.EJ wrote:Not sure if serious or not. Don't bother. Sorry.EJ wrote:Go to page 75, third post.
I heard he suggested that they replace Cold Confession with a reprise of Life Wasted.Coach wrote:I'm just being fresh about the comment above, but I do disagree regarding BoB. Yeah I love the singing and register. Just the right amount of crack in the voice.given2fly23 wrote:Disagree. For me, his singing makes the song. So unique for him. Ya that's some flawless crack. If anything, the music is too repetitive and Ed's singing saves the song.Sgt. I don't know about that. If CC makes it onto a Lost Dogs II, I fully expect Ed to redo the vocals.
We have well documented proof of that type of LD editing.
