These last seven days are gonna get intense. The Red Sox and Indians seem to have the byes locked up, but beyond that you've got ten (maybe even eleven) teams still in the hunt for the last four spots.

To everyone in contention for those last four playoff spots: George Bell would like you to know that you're all fighting for three spots. The Blue Jays are taking one. Bell is going to make sure of it, and he's not taking any of your shit.

Bob Veale gives up 11 ER and still gets the W. ERA jumped a point. But, he's still undefeated at 8-0. I haven't forgotten about those that mocked me drafting him.
Don't mess with the guy sporting the original rec specs.
