I think the best thing for the Heat would have been if a trade didn't get made. Idk what to make of what this does for either team really but the Sixers only sending one current rotation piece out for Harden seems like a steal for them.

I like the trade for both teams provided both stars actually show up and try.

Hopefully I can count on both of them to do their normal playoff things in the playoffs.

I like the trade for the Nets. I'm not sold on Harden aging well or Embiid staying healthy.

I don't know what the Celtics are doing. J.Rich, Romeo a first and a pick swap for Derrick White? J.Rich for White seems fair. Maybe you just want to get rid of Romeo but the picks too? Danny probably spit out his Cheerios when he saw this one. I guess another deal could get picks back.

Respect Daryl Morey, Respect.
Nice work. Whether it works or it doesn’t he certainly gave Philly a much better chance to win. The window is tiny but it is open.

I know as a young child I got into sports to watch owners save money.

I got Porzingis being shipped out of Dallas. No clue who(m) for though.

Remember that wonderful 2021-2022 season where we avoided the repeater luxury tax? Good times!

Haha nailed it. That was a total shot in the dark.

That was a good call on Porzingis. Did Dallas need another guard though? Hardaway is out right now but Brunson has a sizeable role. Bertans isn't great down low either.

The Process is officially over.
the sixers won this. they gave up their starting shooting guard and back up center for james harden. this trade couldn't have gone better. i don't even care about simmonds, he'll play fine and disappear in the playoffs again b/c he won't shoot. i give it two years before he wants out of brooklyn for LA. it has nothing to do with mental health, the guy is just soft and used to getting his way. durant is gonna get on his ass once and he's gonna want out. i can't wait. this nightmare is finally over.

Would have been nice to get Patty Mills back somehow if they're giving up Curry. Harden will probably do what he always does in the playoffs. When he starts bricking it will all be on Embiid.

The Sixers just a more talented sensitive player who always chokes in the playoffs.

yeah, they are both overly sensitive weirdos, but harden is a better player than simmonds is. harden is also playing with embiid, who's having a decent season. simmonds refused to play with embiid b/c embiid hurt his feelings. i'm not sure this could have turned out any better.
