Some of the headlines implied he had been charged or that a warrant had been issued (that he IS the shooter, which is inaccurate beyond the normal presumption of innocence). I believe police are on record saying to the effect that he's a potential suspect. Perhaps that has changed.

Has he been upgraded to official suspect?

At least Wheeler has unified the far right and far left in bitter hatred of mayor Wheeler. Even his neighbors probably hate him after tonight.

Let me google that for you.
The man shot and killed in Portland as a pro-Trump caravan that began in nearby Clackamas wound down and altercations broke out was a “friend and supporter” of Vancouver, Washington-based Patriot Prayer, group leader Joey Gibson said.
The official identification followed a weekend of rumors and false identifications, with at least two newspapers incorrectly naming another conservative protester as the victim. (The confusion appeared to arise from competing fundraisers purporting to aid the victim's family.
Andrew Duncomb, a conservative activist, also confirmed the victim was associated with Patriot Prayer, a right-wing organization that for years staged regular protests in Portland.

To answer the question: no, the shooting victim was not a patriot prayer member.

Probably doesn't matter at this point. Looks like the gloves have come off in the last couple of nights and the Portland cops are cracking down harder and holding a few more people. Crowds are dwindling. We'll see.

If enough white rioters are arrested, charged, and convicted of felonies that the racial disparity in the prison system is resolved, can we go ahead and declare victory for criminal justice reform?

I still don't understand this, cause I am stupid - can you clarify?

1) What is the victim's name

2) Is he a member of Patriot Prayer

3) Does he have a history of gun stuff

not that i really care but i read enough articles and noticed the whole confusing jay bishop aaron danielson finkle einhorn thing and i am just totally unclear on what this guy's deal was

other than he was murdered
