If basic physics and science has no place in the galaxy far far away, madey uppy over under bullshit doesn’t either.
It's just a different way of talking about likelihood, dime.
I'm making up numbers, sure, but in real gambling/odds the numbers aren't arbitrary. There is actual probability and mathematical outcomes involved.
I'm just using it af a way to talk about things in a fun/ different way.
Why impose a random number on it?
Why not just say likelihood kylo gets redeemed in IX?
80%
Why does it have to have a random base number with no foundation in fact or backup
No reason. I just like gaging where people are at. If you'd rather do it your way, fine.
I think the likelihood that Ep 9 is great is 90%.

Full understanding of events requires the other movies.
But did it?
I think this movie can answer the questions I've raised by the way. We're only 2/3 of the way through.

Now this is interesting you say that.
My pal works for paddy power. He can’t stamd Star Wars. Knows nothing of it. PP are The biggest bookies in the uk and Ireland.
They cover everything and any kind of bet.
He told me he could get odds to lay bets on Rey being a Skywalker / kylo gets redeemed / Snoke returns
I can go in and place those bets right now. How the fuck do they calculate those odds when they have no statistical analysis or information?
But, they will take the bet.

Oh totally. All of this talk is premature.

I've been keeping this to myself for a long time but...
I really expect Harry Potter parallels in this movie. I'm not sure why exactly, but I really do.

A horcrux/Palpatine parallel -- Palps managed to figure out a way to keep himself alive -- and Rey dies but then doesn't actually die just like Harry. That kind of thing.

Are you referring to the reports of both sides chasing a mcguffin in IX ?
Cos if so I’m picking up what you’re dropping.
Not 100% but not a bad idea

OH man! That really tickles the nostalgia bone, doesn't it.
All the feels.
I wanna see his prequels master edit now.
His hobbit trilogy super fan edit is outstanding.
95% accurate to the books. Makes the hobbit films actually watchable.
In one film.

Yeah, I'm talking about a lot of rumors out there. None of which I fully believe but I could see SOME credence in. Mostly, it's just a gut feeling. We have this template, this cultural phenomenon (Harry Potter) that exists already and is universally loved. So, I don't think it's outside the realm of possibility that some of the themes/ideas/plot points could be borrowed and twisted to make sense in Star Wars.
Again, I'm not saying it WILL happen. But I have a feeling we'll see some parallels. Especially if Palpatine really is back (which I personally hope he isn't). Most notably, I could see Rey's story mirroring Harry's in the final act. That seems like something JJ would be into. I'm no saying I want that, just that it wouldn't surprise me.

His hobbit super cut is out there for sure.
And it’s fantastic. All three cut into one film second faithful to the book as possible.
His PT cut was out there but seems to have disappeared.
Who knows. I’d watch it
