I am hoping to watch Antichrist Friday night with Melancholia and Nymphomaniac to follow, though I haven't turned any of my televisions on in a while.

Midsommer had me wanting to watch The Wicker Man, which I have not done in quite a while.

Yeah I started having flashbacks to it watching Midsommar. I saw it in the theater when it came out and it was overwhelming.

Yeah I started having flashbacks to it watching Midsommar. I saw it in the theater when it came out and it was overwhelming.

I think if I'd seen Melancholia in the theater it would have broken me. I saw it at home and it FEELS like I saw it on a giant screen with incredible sound, instead of on a small screen with shitty TV speakers.

Still, that movie fucked me up. But in a good way. In a way that I appreciate from my art. Actually, Dancer in the Dark also fucked me up -- similar experiences but different emotions.

Midsommar didn't have anywhere near that same emotional impact. But it was still a great movie going experience.

Cold Pursuit.

Loved it. Neeson was great, the photography was very cool. Very gory, very smart and funny too.

The Assistant.

Pretty cool. Loved the main girl, she is awesome. It remind me of my old days working on a huge ad agency.

Enjoyed it. Felt very much like "movie based on a Nick Hornby book"

Not surprised. The adaptations of his books are better than the books themselves, generally. This one wasn't groundbreaking in any way, just kind of pleasant.

I enjoyed it. Might be Apatow´s more straightforward movie, its not that funny, and it feels sincere. Again, its long. But he succeed with Davison, the guy is so dialed back is not obnoxious. He is still not funny at all.

Looks gorgeous, Bill Burr and Tomei are wonderful. Im glad Judd made a good one. Its been a while for me...i hate trainwreck.

Tonight I'm going to watch "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Oooze" with my nephews on that Netflix watch party group chat thing.

I haven't seen it since watching it in the theatre as a kid. I hope it holds up!

oh i saw that one in the theatre too!! 1991? i was so fucking letdown with Bebop and Rocksteady. But that Huge Shredder was cool.

Yeah I remember being so pumped for Bebop and Rocksteady being in it.

have you seen the Michael Bay ones? I really liked them. And Krang is in the sequel. It was super fun.
