Honestly, I feel worse for having not seen Groundhog Day than I do this one.durdencommatyler wrote:It's okaywease wrote:I’ve never seen that.

I think there are certain moments that are a little preachy but overall I'd say, no.VinylGuy wrote:I havent seen it. Isnt it too much on the nose?durdencommatyler wrote:Da 5 Bloods.

he is very hit or miss to me. But ill watch this new one.durdencommatyler wrote:If you like Spike Lee in general I can't imagine disliking the movie. It's nowhere near his best but it's an interesting and worthwhile journey. And it's dripping with Spike's aesthetic.
Ah. Then, I'm gonna guess this one will be more on the miss side for you. But I'm glad you're going to check it out and see for yourself. If nothing else, Delroy Lindo gives a career defining performance that shouldn't be missed.VinylGuy wrote:he is very hit or miss to me. I haven't seen He Got Game, yet. But Summer of Sam and 25th Hour are both top tier. Do The Right Thing is still is best, though. And one of the greatest films in American cinema history, I think.VinylGuy wrote:yeah i missed him so much its the main reason to see this one.
I think my favs from him are He Got Game, Summer Of Sam and 25th Hour.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.
