I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

I saw a show at the Seattle 5th Avenue Theatre called “Kinky Boots” and while the subject material is something I never would have chosen on my own and went in thinking it would suck, we had free tickets and it was really well done and I actually really enjoyed it.Jorge wrote:IT'S A LINE FROM HAMILTONVinylGuy wrote:jesus!Jorge wrote:You strike me as a woman who's never been satisfiedMickey wrote:Everything about LMM and Hamilton is dopey lib shit that sucks ass.

Agree with all of this. We queued it up on a quarantine Saturday afternoon, while my wife wasn’t feeling too well. Just what we needed, a sweet and funny movie that was nice to look at and transported us to a faraway place.Jorge wrote:Yeah I agree. I found it enjoyable, but not often laugh-out-loud funny. Really pretty movie too, the HDR really brought out a lot from both the Icelandic landscapes and the crazy elaborate stage performances.VinylGuy wrote:Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga.
I liked it. Its not super funny, but it has its moments and a lot of heart. Both Ferrell and McAdams are wonderful, followed closed by Dan Stevens and Brosnan.
I've never seen Kinky Boots but I'm sure it's great.
