Mueller's WaPo offering about Stone today reminded me of my confusion when the report came out and stopped short of purporting explicit colusion:

If they can produce evidence enough to show Stone (a) was coordinating with WikiLeaks (b) to release stolen documents and the Trump campaign (c) about when the docs would be released; And those documents were known to be obtained by Russia (d) and provided to WikiLeaks, how is it not evidence that the campaign was coordinating with Russia?

d -> b -> a -> c

Very much like when I tell my kids we're going to McDonald's when it's time for a flu shot.

Also, side thought, if he stopped the attack in 2018 and lost bigly, maybe that's evidence of something with the Russians previously happening in his favor. Maybe?
you know this article raises a lot of points that people don't want to give his administration credit for

and also - he could have dialed up a conventional military industrial complex war at any point but didn't

obviously closing with the FL boat thing shows the one item he personally understands is the one most buffoony

the rest was probably lobbyist-driven

Yes, I'm surprised he didn't take more of a victory lap for how well he's dehumanized a large group of people. And then there's what he's doing at the border. Let's give him more credit for all this winning.

it seems like something those lazy european fucks should pay for if they signed up for it

but they always want to be so cute and european with their tiny cars and tiny toilets and tiny ability to defend themselves from Russian aggression

and tired of chinese intellectual property theft

and others didn't raise the issue as forcefully

obviously trump didnt come up with these himself, some person in some industry paid a guy to put it on his desk - probably someone in the commerce department -but he had the looney balls to actually deliver the message so good for him

it will lead us to an ally-less europe of heckler frenemies

but we will all save an additional $0.15 per year on our taxes now and we should thank him for that

And I see it as weakening Europe by dividing it further and I don't believe anything is different with respect to China except they're importing less of our stuff. I could be convinced otherwise as I don't pretend to know everything, but my limited reading is these are shiny talking point victories that are hollow and temporary. Like Trump himself.
