beer's like music -- you have to step away from it sometimes to re-appreciate it. otherwise you get burned out and it becomes as stale as some early 90's "rock" band.

I usually alternate IPA/Dark/Amber and that helps me keep from getting sick of one particular beer or style. I drink a lot of Real Ale stuff because it's local and cheap but I haven't burnt myself out yet.

I've walked out of so many bars recently because they don't have Bell's Two Hearted Ale.

durden, is this b/c that's all you'll drink, or do you take that as a sign of a sub-par bar?

I actually don't see any issue with this as I believe both Ommegang and Boulevard have been improved since their partnership/acquisitions and Duvel is simply not AB-InBev.

When me and my friends sit around ranking the albums of Pearl Jam by production value for ten hundred millionth time, nothing will do except a nice warm can of Miller Lite.

Pfftt, you probably like Backspacer and Lightning Bolt too. Can you rank which one you like better?

Well, maybe you should just start with Ten. By the end of the week, I expect a full report of album rankings, opener rankings, closer rankings, and best production. Don't let me down!

Can I first decide which songs on each album should have been on another album and then rank those songs by how well they fit on the album that OH MY GOD PLEASE KILL ME

Been drinking a lot of this and Founder's Centennial IPA.

Also, drank some of North Coast's Old Stock Ale. It was tasty, but it was also $14 for a 4 pack.

Old Stock is fantastic with some age on it. Found an '07 in the lady's cellar a few weeks ago and we had it alongside a '14, held up quite well.
