Do you have a VPI cleaner? I have a copy I'd be happy to send your way, but it needs a little cleanup.Simple Torture wrote:I wish Animals was easier to get.

Just found it, it's pretty beat up. But the sleeve and the art are decent. PM me your address and I'll post it next time I sell something on discogs.Simple Torture wrote:I've got a brush lol Should really invest in something better. I've been thinking about getting one of the spin cleaner as most of the records I but are second hand. They seem to get good reviews. Would be interested in other people's experience here.bodysnatcher wrote:Anyone ever used the Spin-Clean system? Heard good things about it...

Hell yes. Sounds great on vinyl. My buddy has it and it's one of his faves.

Hate spending $40+ on a record I already on via CD and have MP3s and streaming, but come on, it's too good.

So side 2 of cat power " you are free" does not sound so great. There is this extra low hum and bass rumble between tracks that obviously hangs there throughout the song. Side 1 sounded pristine and lovely. Is that a bad pressing or is something fucked with my system?
Also, yes, I know i could just put in a cd so shut up

Even though I live in New England, I've never been. I have ordered online from them before (most recently, the Sigur Rossouthp wrote:Visited a Bull Moose shop for the first time last week in Portsmouth NH. Great store!
"Takk" reissue), and they have excellent customer service. Nice people!

I think I will start a vinyl collection again in 2016. Expect lots of questions Joey, Start, Simple, etc.
