no he's the "authority" figure that vince used to be...except he's awful at it
Does he still lack a neck?

i will openly admit that i think hhh is one of the most overrated superstars ever...but even still, in this scenario what would him winning the belt really accomplish?
For me, Reigns winning isn't an option. The crowd will hate it and it will destroy the progress made with him in the past month. As long as it isn't Reigns, I'm ok with whoever wins.

they keep pushing him despite crowd reaction...but they f*ck pretty much every character and storyline so at this point i'm not even sure it matters

The crowd reacted well to him beating up HHH and winning the title. Those were in Philly and Boston too, legit crowds that are hard to please. His reactions haven't been as good since, but he's not getting booed either. A year ago this time he was getting booed out of the arenas. He's been booked a lot better lately, and the promos they are writing for him are MUCH better suited to him.
If he wins the rumble though, that erases all of it. He goes back to being another Cena, except Cena is a much better worker and talker.

If it were up to me, Brock would come in at 30, clear the ring, and hold the belt until next year's Mania. That's not going to happen, though.

i think the promos and his delivery are still awful...i still remain completely unconvinced he has what it takes to be believable and successful as a world champion, or even a main event stalwart

Agreed, I just feel like they're doing this whether it's working or not, so I'd rather see it work.

As long as he works, say, 6 PPVs a year I think it's fine. It raises the profile of the belt, and the shows he appears on. Then you make the times when he's not around all about who is next guy to step up to face Brock.

You could also use it as an opportunity to elevate the i
IC and US titles by having them main event a few ppvs when Brock isn't around.

yeah i agree...trust me i'm not expecting him to show up every raw, but even if he's not wrestling just making more appearances is vital

He doesn't even have to be there. You could film a months worth of vignettes during one of his appearances. Between those and Heyman, it wouldn't be a problem at all.

eh, vignettes aren't the same...more heyman is fine though
i'm still holding out hope bo dallas wins the rumble

fantasy booking this rumble i would have fun with this match by having roman get tossed in the first few minutes. the rumble then is a bit more exciting with each new entrant. then at 29, there are only a couple guys in and everyone is somehow eliminated before #30 even comes out. we wait a minute or so for #30, who now is your new wwe champion, daniel bryan. or aj styles. or kevin owens. something like that. the rumble's been going on for almost 30 years and the #30 guy having the automatic win has never happened. why not this year when it means the title? a lot of things could come out of that. maybe hhh is #29 and he eliminates the two other guys in the ring and then himself to help pu... haha, just kidding, in this scenario hhh would totally make himself #30.

Someone won at 30, I think it was Taker.

I'm pretty pumped for the Rumble, between the title being on the line, Styles probable debut, Bryan potentially returning, HHH, hopefully it lives up to my expectations.
