I have watched... one and a half Star Wars movie.

I have never watched a Star Trek film or episode.

I'm okay with that, tbh.

one thing that i'm surprised to discover, given how disappointed I was in the pre-quels (they all suck), is how much good will I have towards this project. It may be that I think Abrams is just the right kind of director for what they're trying to do here, or a desire to care about star wars again, but I'm excited for most of what I've heard and think it's gonna be great

I guarantee everyone that Gareth Edwards' spin-off SW movie is going to be miles better than any of the official new "episodes."

he's the godzilla guy, right? I've enjoyed both of the new star trek movies more than his godzilla, with the caveat that going into them I hated star trek and was indifferent to godzilla

In a world where half of what's big is based on superhero picture books, and half of the rest is trying hard to mimic a story about dwarves and wizards, it's just really hard to know where the geek line even is anymore.

Nevermind I found it. It's definitely Star Trek.
