According to the Springfield City School District, students from Perrin Woods and Snowhill elementary schools in Springfield were evacuated during the morning of Sept. 13. The district cites the evacuations were conducted due to “information received from the Springfield Police Division.”
Students from the two schools were taken to another location within the school district. Those students from the affected buildings are going to be part of a “controlled release” from the alternate location to their parents.
Springfield City Schools reports the district also received information from Springfield Police, which prompted Roosevelt Middle School to close before opening for the day.
On Thursday, students were evacuated from Fulton Elementary School in Springfield. The district claimed the evacuation was caused by “information received from the State Fire Marshal.”
Catholic Central – Springfield
Catholic Central School in Springfield also announced its closure for all students. Individuals in grades kindergarten through fifth grade were released at 10 a.m., while children in grades six through 12 were released at 10:15.
The school cited “safety threats of nearby locations” as the decision of the early closure, and that busing was not available.
Clark State College
According to Clark State College, its Brinkman Building in Springfield is closed on Sept. 13. The location was also closed on Sept. 12.
Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles
An official from the Springfield Police Division confirmed to 2 NEWS that at least one Springfield location of the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles is closed.

I disagree.wease wrote:Vance has admitted to creating the “story” of Haitians eating house pets in Springfield, OH.
I think the word “stories” here is referring to narratives. Media narratives. They’ve been trying to reframe this as “OK, we fell for a hoax, but we and other people fell for this hoax because it connected to an actual problem we see every day. By making you talk about the hoax, we made you talk about the problem.”(Vance) stood by the debunked claims he and former President Donald J. Trump have spread suggesting Haitian migrants were eating pets, saying that he was willing “to create stories so that the American media actually pays attention.”

Well, yeah, it was definitely the Democrats that invented bald face lying to the public. What was AOC justifying? Something omelette something eggsOcasio-Cortez: If people want to really blow up one figure here or one word there, I would argue that they're missing the forest for the trees. I think that there's a lot of people more concerned about being precisely, factually, and semantically correct than about being morally right.
