Prob one of the better rumbles in recent memories
Aj got a hell of a pop, and Kevin throwing him out was great bec he's all about getting heat.. same w hhh throwing out dean instead of roman..
They shoulda had dean drop the ic to make it more believable that he could win
Also, sashas appearance was pretty awesome

Loved the divas match last night, plus Sasha at the end was fantastic stuff
There's no way they're letting AJ Styles do the Styles Clash...it's not coincidence he went for it a ton last night and never got it

I loved the show. The Ambrose/Owens match was bad ass, Sasha's appearance was awesome, and the Rumble match was fantastic. Whoever produced the Rumble did a great job, most of the timing was great. The sequence where Owens came out and took out Styles followed by Zayn coming out was great stuff.

My only complaint about the Rumble is I wish they had bounced a couple of the guys like Truth/Miz/Axel/Swagger/Henry (though I'll admit I did laugh at Truth's ladder spot) and given the opportunity to some more of the established NXT guys (Samoa Joe, Balor)...the five guys I listed are never going to go anywhere again, they're kind of stuck where they are and no one takes them seriously. People might not be as familiar with a Samoa Joe or Balor, but give them 15-20 minutes to make an impression.
Also, when Ambrose tried to throw HHH out, HHH was on the ring apron on the same side that Reigns was just sitting there...if you really wanted to get Reigns over in that scenario, wouldn't the right move been to have him run up and spear HHH off the apron to eliminate HHH and give his buddy Ambrose the title? That would have gotten him majorly over, it would've continued his heat with HHH, and you give the swerve of putting the title on Ambrose, even if it wouldn't last long for one reason or another.

thats where Bugs was completely right, they needed to have Ambrose drop the IC title earlier because as soon as it was HHH and Dean it was obvious that HHH was winning, they arent putting 2 singles titles on someone again IMO.
my complaints with the match were basically the ending where Reigns didnt at least try to get HHH out and how bad the actual elimination of Dean looked ( though after the last man standing match and 30 mins in the rumble he should have been dead at that point) and that they made a point of coming out and beating the shit out of Reigns with people not currently in the match only to let him be taken to the back for medical attention....if your goal is to get the title off of him then you beat the shit out of him, throw him in and let him be eliminated. that part just didnt make sense to me.
great show though, even though Mania is the biggest event of the year, the Rumble is my favorite match of the year and usually my favorite PPV of the year.

pretty good show, top to bottom. tag match was the weakest, but even that wasn't bad. women's match was aces, and even though i'm on board the sasha banks bandwagon hopefully becky lynch isn't just tossed aside from this program going forward. the rumble itself was definitely one of the better ones from recent years. no real filler and comedy was kept to the one r-truth spot. i can certainly nitpick a few points, like the idiocy of vince and henchman not eliminating reigns and the way lesnar was booked, but these didn't overshadow the match like we've seen booking decisions do the last couple years. loved that they were smart enough to have owens be the one to toss styles only to have zayn come in to stick it to owens and thus squash any lingering fan backlash from styles' departure. triple h winning wasn't a surprise and doesn't get me excited for anything, but at least it was done fairly well. if i graded the show i'd give it a solid b+.

the wwe24 show on mania 31 right after was pretty decent, too. kinda wish they gave it more time, if anything. there were a couple of brief candid moments shown with the undertaker that i don't think we'd have seen in years past. i really hope that when he is done, he starts to appear more often and open up on the documentary type shows- i'd love to hear his actual thoughts and feeling on all he has seen in his career.

also also, styles entrance and theme was the shit. too bad we didn't get to see the first part of it because they felt roman's reaction was more important for us to see.

Yeah, and he didn't even react.

A better R-Truth spot would have been to leave him out of the rumble, then have him come down tonight during a match and start throwing people over the top rope.

the bit is getting played out for me now though...the first time was easily the best, truth and kane both sold it so well

I didn't, but R-Truth is great. I'm hopeful that the crowds aduration of Sandow during that pre show match means they will actually come up with something for him.

Yeah, he got that Mizdow character to the point where he was one of the most over guys on the roster, and they did nothing with it. Last night he got huge pops and he hasn't been on tv since like May. The crowd loves the guy, it's time to at least give him something.

makes me wonder if he did something to p*ss someone off in the back...in interviews he seems like a really down to earth guy though
