There are some good ones. The first one wasn't that great.lennytheweedwhacker wrote:i watched the first episode, but haven't gone back since i'm not familiar with any of the source material they're spoofingdoug rr wrote:been enjoying Documentary Now on IFC...the latest spoof of Stop Making Sense was great...
Steve Albini wrote:Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.
the Grey Gardens spoof was spot on and great...obviously you need to have seen the real one though..tragabigzanda wrote:The only one I've sort of enjoyed is the Vice news spoof. I find both of these guys to be hysterical, but I just don't think the show is very funny. It's too serious in its delivery, I'd say it's hardly even comedic.BurtReynolds wrote:There are some good ones. Game of thrones but factually based about the vikings taking over England before it was England.
Only 8 episodes but well worth looking up.
