There's a sense of accomplishment, and if you love music, when you write it, record it, and get to listen to it, there's nothing better. Anyone who thinks it's masturbatory or 'silly' can go fuck themselves right off a fucking cliff. There is no musician in the world who hasn't enjoyed the music they've committed to, and if they say they don't like it, they're liars. If they say they don't listen to it, they're liars. Guys, I was lying about not headbanging and dancing along to my band's recordings. I didn't think I was, but lowercasejames came and corrected me. I can't believe I was wrong all of these years.
