Felt more dated than I thought it would, and it really suffers from the comparison to the tv show. Hopkins is wonderful though.

I've never watched the tv show but I adore the movie.

The show is a real pleasure.

Silence of the Lambs is leagues better than the Hannibal TV show (which I like)

i wanna see it again. I recently saw Mindhunter and now i wanna make a double feature of Silence...and Hannibal.

I didn't say that the show was better--I'm not sure how I feel about that one way or another, there's a lot of different parts to consider and it's ultimately a different medium. But I do think the movie suffers by comparison, given that we're looking at the same set of characters: the relationship between Hannibal and Will Graham that Fuller was able to create in the show is so dynamic that it makes the Clarice/Hannibal relationship in the movie feel more static and less menacing than it perhaps would otherwise.

I get you. I really need to watch the show again, it's been a long while. But man, I love that movie

We rewatched it in the fall, the first season takes a little while to get out of its procedural format and the third season gets a little goofy, but the second season is so good.

Saw Lambs again recently, thought it was kinda dated.

But I think it's a great movie and "dated" isn't a bad thing

not enough explosions or cgi

After David Fincher movies, it's just feels kinda tame or stiff or something.
