And if it is just the House, wouldn't that be a pointless endgame for Trump?
Not if the argument could be made that Pelosi et al. were biased and corrupt and poopy-heads.
but why would that matter if the House gets the final say? So a bunch Trump voters will be disenfranchised...Regardless of my personal beliefs about that, that would still just be another loss of the red team.
Key thing is that it's not a vote of the 435 members of the House. Each state has one vote. So the representatives from each state would essentially vote together and then cast a single for their state. First one to 26 votes wins.
oh, that's crazy. Large rural states with democratic urban areas would submit a Republican vote then. Thanks for the clarification on this.

Alright, let's count to 26 based solely on the higher number of current reps in a given party per state:
AK - DT
AL - DT
AR - DT
AZ - DT
CA - JB
CO - JB
CT - JB
DE - JB
FL - DT
GA - DT (no John Lewis, though it wouldn't have changed my rudimentary guessing)
HI - JB
IA - JB
ID - DT
IL - JB
IN - DT
KS - DT
KY - DT
LA - DT
MA - JB
MD - JB
ME - JB
MI - JB (if Amash sides with Dems)
MN - JB
MO - DT
MS - DT
MT - DT
NC - DT
ND - DT
NE - DT
NH - JB
NJ - JB
NM - JB
NV - JB
NY - JB
OH - DT
OK - DT
OR - JB
PA - DT
RI - JB
SC - DT
SD - DT
TN - DT
TX - DT
UT - DT
VA - JB
VT - JB
WA - JB
WI - DT
WV - DT
WY - DT (unless Liz Cheney wants to go with Dems)
DT is re-elected with 28 states' reps in the House backing him.
Do Puerto Rico, Vir. Isl., Guam, N. Mariana Isl., American Somoa, and D.C. count in this?

Definitely no to the first five since they don't ever count in the presidential election. D.C. is an interesting case because they aren't a state, don't have voting members of the House, but they can participate in presidential elections. So I don't know the answer. I think the Supreme Court would have to decide. Here's the relevant passages in the Constitution:
12th Amendment wrote:and if no person have such majority, then from the persons having the highest numbers not exceeding three on the list of those voted for as President, the House of Representatives shall choose immediately, by ballot, the President. But in choosing the President, the votes shall be taken by states, the representation from each state having one vote; a quorum for this purpose shall consist of a member or members from two-thirds of the states, and a majority of all the states shall be necessary to a choice.
The 23rd Amendment allowed D.C. to have electoral votes, but doesn't specifically clarify their role in an election that gets thrown to the House.
23rd Amendment wrote:A number of electors of President and Vice President equal to the whole number of Senators and Representatives in Congress to which the District would be entitled if it were a State, but in no event more than the least populous State; they shall be in addition to those appointed by the States, but they shall be considered, for the purposes of the election of President and Vice President, to be electors appointed by a State; and they shall meet in the District and perform such duties as provided by the twelfth article of amendment.

New home theater for all that sweet, sweet OANN viewing?
So, his feigned concern for the welfare of our citizens is his reasoning behind wanting to out off the election. Too unsafe. Yet, it’s safe enough to hold rallies. It’s safe enough for our kids to go back to school. I guess that makes sense.

You don’t need a delay for this to be a disaster. You only need the added chaos and confusion of millions of Americans believing that you didn’t delay because it was part of a ploy to steal the election from them. And having the attorney general tacitly breathing credibility into the idea is extra bad.

Not even during the Civil War. I’m mostly concerned for whether or not Fox and others will advocate for it in response. The president can’t delay an election, but trying to run elections while 20 million people believe you’re rushing through to “steal” it from them will go poorly for all of us.
New Yahoo News/YouGov poll:
55% of Trump supporters say they will not accept an outcome that's very close, where Biden wins due to an advantage in mail-in votes.

For the record, I've never had a doubt that he and his supporters wouldn't make this easy. Trump complained about voter fraud in 2016, even though he freaking won. This could get ugly. Trump derangement syndrome is a real thing but it's his fans suffering from it.

I know it's impossible, but I can't stop hoping that this all ends with the execution of Trump and the key members of his administration.

Plays the media like a fiddle
Economy is down 32% I just heard. Out comes the distraction.
Even if he was somehow impeached again and even if some miracle happened and he was removed, unless the senate added that he could never run again, he’d simply run again.
