I mean it's really this for me. Even the albums towards the bottom of my list, with a handful of songs here and there, are still full of songs I really like, a few I love, and the things i don't are still fine.
I don't know that my rankings have moved much
Vitalogy (Head)
Ten (Heart)
Vs
Gigaton
Lightning Bolt
Backspacer
ST
Yield
Binaural
Riot Act

I'm going to listen to all the albums front to back this week. I'm really hoping that I enjoy S/T and BS more this time around.

Putting this on now -- probably haven't played it in full in over a year, and never while in a headspace of such uncritical enthusiasm for the band in general.

I blasted this one a few weeks ago, and it got me hooked again, i was reading the booklet like a maniac.

Played this one straight through over the weekend and can't get over how good it still is.
Initially I thought Superblood Wolfmoon was a complete train wreck, now I look forward to it in the # spot more than any #2 since Save You.
Take the Long Way and Retrograde haven't aged as well for me, but everything else had me wanting to start right back over at the beginning.

Take the Long Way needs bass! That's my only complaint! It's so weird. It's guitar solo is
I am one of the few here who really likes the first part of Retrograde in addition to the space finale. For me, it's so Mike, and it recalls my favorite aspects of the BS/LB era.

After listening to this yesterday for the first time in a while, I definitely agree that "Retrograde" deserves the 'most improved player' award. What felt like an unwelcome callback to the Brendan O'Brien era at the time just sounds pleasing to the ears now -- it's my favorite of the last three songs on the album.

it happened to me too. It was the song i like the least when it came out, and it was mainly because it had some Brendan flavor to it, and then it just opened a new sound and i loved it.
Least favorite these days is Alright followed by Come Then Goes.

"Alright" is my least favorite too. "Comes Then Goes" is somewhere in the bottom third, but I'm not quite sure where it lands overall -- probably more than any other song on the album, my fondness for it varies based on mood.

Retrograde is at the bottom of those 3 final songs, but it's also the song that's the most of an 'any occasion' song of the three. Comes than Goes and River Cross are both much more demanding, and not necessarily songs for all occasions, which stands out on a record where almost everything is pretty accessible.

Current rankings
Dance
Superblood Wolfmoon
Who Ever Said
Quick Escape
River Cross
Comes Than Goes
Seven O'Clock
Buckle Up
Alright
Never Destination
Retrograde
Take the Long Way
First three are five stars. Everything is good. Quick Escape through Buckle Up are fairly interchangable
