Trying to rank this album always breaks my brain. I just used the ranker and got the below. At least the top four are 5-stars, and maybe the top six are 5-stars. So at a certain point I just shrug at trying to figure myself out.

Seven O'Clock
Quick Escape
Who Ever Said
Dance of the Clairvoyants
Comes Then Goes
Superblood Wolfmoon
Buckle Up
Alright
River Cross
Retrograde
Take the Long Way
Never Destination

This thing is getting better.
Dance, incredible song

SBWM enjoy alot

Retrograde definitely most listen to fits the mood of a sunset run.

Who Ever Said, man this has really great moments, the delivery of the chorus is a bit week.

7oclock, top tier verses. Hate the choruses. Love the unhinged nature of the music.

Alright, little better than alright.

Comes Than Goes is a top tier song, but I never need to hear it again.

Never Destination, fun but in a boring way

Take the Long Way, fine

Buckle Up. Just absolute garbage

River Cross, absolute turd.

Quick Escape, gimmick song. Distorted vocals are just awful. Lyrically it is terrible other than Knappsack Kerouac moment. Trump reference is lame. Man kind in general would have made alot more sense. Outro is great but cant carry song

I relistened to this recently, and that moment from the bridge on Quick Escape into Stone's very strange solo is one of my favorite moments in a PJ song this century.

Quick Escape gets a lot of love, but it still deserves 3x the love it's getting. Its ferocious energy is everything I love about Pearl Jam.

'dance' is the only song i like more than 'quick escape'. its got that classic funky heaviness pearl jam does better than anyone. blistering solos. EV's delivery is great. the song is a beast.

It fits my mood lately.. Retrograde is good to take on a run. Dance on a drive. Earthling for some reason brought me back to this.

Yeah, I think there’s a natural tendency to want to see how Earthling fits with Pearl Jam’s albums. Inasmuch as I have really been enjoying the easy approach to Earthling, when I heard this I was transported to that Pearl Jam place where nothing beats them together.

I'll list the parts that made me laugh (with spoilers just in case) when I've seen it

Still probably the Pearl Jam album I will listen to the most from this point forward. I wouldn't change a thing.

Is Alright an absolute all-time top tier PJ tune? Probably not, but it works perfectly in that spot on the album.

Does the record basically end with three straight closers? Yes, but again I wouldn't take any of them out.

Oh, and I love Never Destination. Seems to be the one that a lot of folks here are ready to discard or replace, but I absolutely love it.

Also, Quick Escape is as Pearl Jam as it gets. I don't get any of the hate for it.

It's kind of a needy song. "Watch me work!" [notes notes notes words words words EPIC SOLO EPIC SOLO EPIC SOLO] It's probably the most maximalist thing they've ever done. I can totally get why some people love it; I do not love it though.
So...it's *too* Pearl Jam for 2020 Pearl Jam?
