Quick sidebar: Trump's refusal to drink alcohol because of alcoholism in his family is one of the most human things about him. No other fact about his personal life has ever stirred a modicum of sympathy in my heart, but this one feels real and relatable.

I'll give him credit for the nature of this axios interview. Extremely fast paced and he rolls with it.

That said, it's all talking points repeated over and over until he feels like moving on to another question.

Also, the constant jacket adjustments and hand gestures make him look so defensive.

Yeah, I mentioned "mini strokes" and whatnot in my earlier post, but having now watched the whole interview I have to agree that, although babbling on about his 3 or 4 talking points throughout, and being infuriatingly obtuse, he actually handles it all quite consistently and does indeed mostly keep up. Gotta admire his commitment to his own truth.
