There is an eagle in me and a mockingbird . . . and the eagle flies among the Rocky Mountains of my dreams and fights among the Sierra crags of what I want . . . and the mockingbird warbles in the early forenoon before the dew is gone, warbles in the underbrush of my Chattanoogas of hope, gushes over the blue Ozark foothills of my wishes—And I got the eagle and the mockingbird from the wilderness.

I know. The schedule says the show will start at 6:00 with Carrie Underwood opening but there’s no way that happens. It’ll still be 95° and broad daylight. And while she may not do her full show, there’s no way she just plays for 30-45 minutes. I’ll be totally shocked if she goes for less than 90 minutes. Then who knows how long between her and the band? We get these schedules of stage times and intermissions and everything when we get there but those are almost never adhered to. And when they finally do take the stage, their average show time is 3 hours. It’s gonna be a very long, hot afternoon/night. Temps in Nashville are supposed to be over 100 today with heat index over 110. And we can’t even wear shorts.Bammer wrote:2pm??
