Daryl and Negan are the only two characters i really give a shit about on this show.

They are both phenomenal on screen and especially when acting against each other.

I dont know why, continually, for years now, that they have to branch off on all these bullshit side stories. Negan fucking killed Alpha and we had to spend an entire episode not dealing with that? And this episode dealt with it for about 50% of the time?

I get it. its my fault at this point for continuity to watch, but i legit watching those two characters on screen.

I fucking hated this scene. Why were they treating it not like ----"Ezekiel, are you sure you want to take this big trip and go on this risky adventure? You are already sick. OK, but take care of yourself"---- but instead like ----"Goodbye forever my friend Ezekiel and yes, I will accept the mantle as king because you are obviously going to die."----
THIS SHOW SUCKCKCKCKCKCKCKCKCKCKCKS

Season 10 finale airs Oct 4th.

TWD also announced 6 more episodes for season 10 after the finale. Unsure what will be in those 6.

Season 11 has been pushed back to 2021.

I remember looking forward to the finale but after that I will go back to watching for walker sequences and not really caring about much else.
I'm curious too what those six episodes will look like.
Honestly I'm curious what the fall tv season will look like in general.

with another spinoff!

The Walking Dead’ Is Set to End in 2022

The show, which is based on the popular comics by Robert Kirkman, will conclude in 2022 after 11 seasons. But some of its characters will live on in a new spinoff series.

After 11 seasons, “The Walking Dead” is finally going into the grave.

The long-running gritty AMC drama, which is based on the popular comics by Robert Kirkman, will conclude in 2022 with an extended 24-episode season, AMC announced on Wednesday. The episodes are scheduled to air over the course of two years.

But its fans can take solace in the fact that, like its signature zombies, the franchise isn’t dead for good. The show’s current showrunner, Angela Kang, will return to oversee a spinoff series starring the cast members Norman Reedus and Melissa McBride as Daryl Dixon and Carol Peletier, planned for 2023.

The new series is being created by Kang and Scott M. Gimple, the chief content officer of the “Walking Dead” television and cinematic universe.

“‘The Walking Dead’ flagship series has been my creative home for a decade, and so it’s bittersweet to bring it to an end,” Kang said in a statement. “But I could not be more excited to be working with Scott Gimple and AMC to develop a new series for Daryl and Carol.”

Gimple will also develop a new anthology series called “Tales of the Walking Dead,” which will focus on individual characters from the franchise, both new and old.

The Season 10 finale of “The Walking Dead,” which was set to air in April before being delayed by the pandemic, will air as a special episode on Oct. 4. Another spinoff series, “The Walking Dead: The World Beyond,” will debut on Oct. 4 after that finale. Season 6 of “Fear the Walking Dead,” which was the first spinoff, will debut a week later.

It hardly qualifies a spin-off if it stars the two main characters. Especially for a franchise that has proved time and again that it is incapable of doing very little beyond hitting the same note over and over again. This is just going to be The Walking Dead season 13 or whatever

At least they are the two characters most viewers left still care about.
