Kobe is (was) one of those transcendent people. I’m seeing news about this on my feed from Seattle based rock radio stations, alternative rock stations, University of Washington, etc. not just from ESPN and the like.
Life is fleeting. Damn.

So god damn tragic; I used to follow the NBA closely and remember marveling at watching him play so effortlessly and watching him grown through his first few rocky seasons. Even worse to hear one of his daughters died in the crash as well. RIP
