In my mind I sing it as "give up your mind". "Give it good mind" seems a bit of a non sequitur.

Just listened to that part of the studio version a few times and guys, I don't know what to tell you, he sure isn't singing "give a good mind" (whatever the hell that means).

ON the album it really does sound like give it a good mind. Which feels like a tongue in cheek go fuck yourself sarcastic stiff upper lip biting commentary.
