Jesus, Kaufman fucking ego ruins a perfect source material. The book is awesome and this movie is garbage.
Hmm. We started watching this last night but my wife fell asleep. But it wasn't interesting enough to make me want to finish it on my own. We'll do the back half tonight but I'm wary. I loved the energy at the dinner table scene but once they're back in the car it was kind of like, why is this happening, why is this still happening.

oh and the ending is the worst part. Its a shame because the book is great and im sure this movie will hurt the book´s appreciation on people who havent read it.

Lol uh oh. We only have about 50 minutes left so I'm feeling a little pot-committed at this point, but that sounds bad.

Overall I found I'm Thinking of Ending Things unpleasant and irritating. But it did have it's moments where it affected me emotionally. And the performances were great.

Bad movie by a great filmmaker, I think--lots of really interesting scenes but overall I found it really tiresome. In a way it's just a distillation of Charlie Kaufman ideas which maybe I'm just bored with? Also the sound mixing was bad.

What did you guys think of The King? Chalamet, Edgerton and Pattinson were all brilliant. It's hard to believe the latter was the Twilight guy. Turns out he's actually really fucking good at acting.

Been meaning to watch that one. Pattinson is one of my favorite actors today.

I really liked this one. I got into a bunch of Shakespeare King Henry stuff for a while after watching it

The best bits of the movie are coming from the book. And the worst fucking things are 100% Kaufman. What a fucking ego trip.

Out Of Sight.
I have always been a fan of this movie, but i particulary enjoyed this view. 1998 seems like a lifetime ago. So different. This movie is just so classy and both Clooney and Lopez are wonderful.
She was such a star. I hope she continues to do great work.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

The bar scene is one of the most classy, beautiful scenes in modern cinema.

Weird! We are planning to watch this tonight! One of my favorites but my wife had never seen it.
Love it. Dig the Ray Nicolette cameo from Jackie Brown.

I’m more about the author and albeit small connection with jac brown. Not into the jlo or Cloon and SSoder... never left a great taste in my mouth I don’t think.

after all the disappointment with this, I've opted to read the book instead.
