The documentaries? The interviews? Somehow it gives me the feeling that these two have grown to hate each others guts to no end but are staying together "for the sake of the kids" so to speak.

There is a clip on Youtube showing the band standing in a corridor before a concert discussing the playlist, and at one instance Stone tries to argue in favor of some song when Ed gives him a sort of a mean look that stops Stone in his tracks and as soon as Ed looks away there's an impression of contempt or even disgust on Stone's face as he follows Ed with his gaze. It struck me as such anyway, but I could be wrong, of course.
