My Father's Son isn't just the best song on this album. It's one of their best ever. I could see it on anyone's top 10 list or something, and I'd totally understand. Holy shit it's amazing. That alone makes this album special, and ranks it above their past 2-3 for me.

Unfortunately I'll be out of the house for the next 7 or 8 hours, so probably not for a while.

The only reason that I haven't used the word "amazing" for MFS is that it sounds very like Incubus to me, and I think they've done it better.

The first three songs overall are pretty strong.

I love Sirens but I really don't get why it's track 4.

Funny this came up. I liked it the other night when I first heard it, thought it was bad ass. But it hit me over the head on the way home, now I fucking love it. The streamed version sounds edited though, maybe?
